Donate
No matter the size of the contribution, you can be assured it will go to opening minds and changing lives across the Triangle. Here are some examples of what a single donation can enable us to do.
$100 makes it possible for us to:
- Provide funding for a Compeer group social outing (which would include folks on the waiting list who are not matched yet with a friend)
- Train a Compeer volunteer and match them with a friend, providing much-needed companionship to someone with mental illness
- Fund a Pro Bono Counseling Network-sponsored educational workshop, a benefit for our volunteer therapists
- Provide 10 parenting books for our FAN workshop Parenting from the Inside Out
$250 makes it possible for us to:
- Help a special-needs child receive better services at school
- Provide training to law enforcement officials on working with people with mental illness
- Hold a series of support groups for parents of kids with special needs
$500 gives us the ability to:
- Provide a parenting skills training event for parents of special-needs kids
- Offer up to eight (8) free counseling sessions to an underinsured or uninsured individual
- Keep you informed with an up-to-date website and Facebook
$1000 give us the ability to:
- Partner with other community organizations to serve young people at-risk for mental health and substance abuse conditions
- Collaborate with other mental health organizations to advocate for improved mental health services
$1500 will:
- Support a Compeer friendship for an entire year
